Thomas came of age in downtown Decatur sneaking ice cream after closing time from his high school friends working at the Cold Stone Creamery (don’t go searching for it since it’s now a bookshop). Prior to serving as a Realtor, Thomas obtained an undergraduate degree in English Education from the University of Georgia as well as a Masters's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Virginia. He worked for thirteen rewarding years as a public school teacher in Georgia and Virginia during which he gained broad-ranging skills and wore many hats: English Department Chair, Literary Arts Magazine Sponsor, Creative Writing and Journalism Sponsor, Varsity Girls Soccer Coach, Mental Performance Coach, and Horse Farmer. From all his diverse experience, one thing has always rung true; he believes in empowering the people he works with to feel confident and knowledgeable to make the best decision for themselves.

Thomas can help any client find a home, but he is most passionate about the historic houses of Atlanta's distinct and storied neighborhoods. He currently lives in Historic Marietta and excels in the creative process of guiding clients through buying, renovating, or selling homes with charm. This means a deeper understanding of estate sales, connections with vendors who respect the integrity of homes while creating upgrades, and coordinating communication between historical communities and homeowners.

Outside of real estate, Thomas does a lot of creative writing and he continues to play in a local men's soccer league filled with guys who can no longer slide tackle. He is active in volunteering with his local historic, art, and school communities. He strives to be curious, creative, and a life-long leaner, and he looks forward to helping you find your dream home.
