The weather has finally agreed to do us a solid and made it comfortable to be outside for safe gatherings. To make things even better Georgia's Community Farmer’s Market is starting up three new farmers markets this week. Joining the opened year-round markets at Grant Park and Oakhurst, Decatur, Ponce City, and EAV are getting seasonal markets. You can find a full list of weekly vendors at each location on the Community Farmer’s site. The offerings at the farmer’s market aren’t just produce, meat, and poultry. You can find vendors selling almost anything from handmade soap to handmade pasta with Georgia-grown wheat to handmade jewelry and clothes. If your single take a date and impress them with your knowledge of edible mushrooms or go with the family and constantly battle your kids from touching everything you pass. The seasonal markets will be open till November and another market will be opening in Virginia Highland on April 22nd.

Hop Scotch Your Way Thru Cobb’s Best Hop Spots

Have you ever wished that going to brewers was more like going to Epcot and getting your souvenir passport stamped in each country? I have some great news for you! Seventeen breweries, distillers, and wineries in Cobb county are participating in Brews and Bubbles. Go to any of the participating locations pick up a free “Brew Pass” and get it stamped at each Brewery. Getting more stamps isn’t just rewarding for all the completionists out there. It’s also a way to get tangible rewards like pint glasses and shirts. If you get enough stamps you’ll get an entry in a drawing for gift certificates and a Corn Hole set. Don’t worry I know what your thinking, “This sounds great! If only it could fulfill my need for civic duty by having some sort of voting.” It does! Each of the participating locations is eligible for a slew of categories that you can vote for. “Best Beverage”, “Most Dog Friendly”, and the highly coveted “Most Instagramable”. Many of the locations will also have special events and entertainment. Brew and Bubbles ends March 31st.
